About us

history

The Junior Premier League had long envisioned creating a league that represented the pinnacle of girls’ club football outside of the Elite Regional Talent Clubs. That vision became reality when several professional football clubs approached the JPL with a shared ambition to build an environment where female players could thrive and compete at the highest level.

Seizing the opportunity, the JPL launched two of the most talented and prestigious girls’ divisions in England, setting new standards for development and excellence in the girl’s game.

Born from six visionary clubs determined to find a better way to play, JPL WARRIORS has since evolved into the leading destination for girls’ football across England, the USA and the Middle East. Today, we continue to provide pathways that empower every player to fulfil their potential, test their limits and compete in competitions that challenge them like nowhere else.

WARRIORS stands for every girl who dreams bigger, plays harder and refuses to be limited by the game’s boundaries.

About us

Our clubs

The JPL WARRIORS League in England currently runs competitions from Under-12s through to Under-18s and is the fastest growing girls-only football league in the country. It features high profile clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, West Ham, Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth, Manchester City, Derby County, Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and AFC Wimbledon — along with many other top-tier girls’ teams that meet the league’s elite standards.

JPL WARRIORS has expanded globally, with leagues now operating in the USA and Qatar, and a tournament series that includes teams from Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Oman.

This season, we launched the first-ever girls-only league in Qatar under the JPL WARRIORS banner, and have recently introduced the country’s first women’s league.

We are proud to be building a truly global community of girls and women playing football.
